Razorback Regional Greenway Bike Trails
This route, which was completed in 2015, runs 36 miles and connects 19 distinct trails. The Razorback Regional Greenway spans a good chunk of Northwest Arkansas. Connecting the urban centers of Bentonville and Fayetteville with the suburban communities of Rogers, Springdale, and Lowell, the Razorback Regional Greenway is surprisingly entirely off-road. A true mountain biker’s delight.
Other top points of interest along the Razorback Greenway include the University of Arkansas and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville.

Slaughter Pen Trail
Enthusiasts travel from around the region (and country) to Bentonville to experience this unique urban mountain biking mecca. Nearly 40 miles of single-track, downhill trails, a jump park, and log rides offer something for riders of all skill levels.
In addition, more than 20 miles of the Slaughter Pen system connect with Lake Bella Vista to the Blowing Springs biking trails. Parking is available at Compton Gardens on Main Street.
Coler Mountain Bike Preserve
Built on land designated as a mountain bike preserve about two miles west of downtown Bentonville, Coler Mountain provides the feeling of being deep in the Ozark backcountry. The trails feature multiple flowy jump lines, challenging technical rocky sections, and several huge gap jumps.
Coler has also been acknowledged as Arkansas’ most challenging enduro-style jump trail system.
Back 40 Trails
This 21-mile mountain biking loop located along the east of the Bella Vista trail system features grinding climbs and zippy, swooping descents along ridges and valleys. In addition, you are within riding distance from Slaughter Pen via the Greenway and Blowing Springs. Lookout for coolers of water left along the trails by locals. Southern hospitality at its finest!
Parking at the Lake Ann Trailhead will put you in the epicenter, but there are several other access points.
Lake Atalanta Trails
New in 2015, the Lake Atalanta mountain biking trails quickly became a local favorite for its scenic lake views and fast single-track. Mountain biking options include looping around the lake or popping deeper into the woods, where you’ll ride bridges, whoopdees, and all manner of fun and challenging terrain.
In addition to biking, Lake Atalanta features a waterfront park with a nature-inspired playground, paved walking paths, and a fireplace pavilion.
